This Peoria shower remodel began with correcting deficiencies in the previous waterproofing system. We rebuilt the shower using a complete Schluter waterproofing system, then finished it with large-format tile, frameless glass, brushed gold fixtures, an illuminated niche, and a custom floating bench with LED lighting.
The result: a dramatic, spa-inspired shower built to last.
The Problem
The previous shower installation failed, allowing water to leak into the downstairs wall and causing hidden damage.
What We Uncovered
Demolition exposed inadequate waterproofing and moisture damage, requiring the shower to be stripped back and properly rebuilt.
